The Venue

Porto Carras, known as Porto Carras Grand Resort, is one of northern Greece's largest and most famous hotels and holiday resorts. It is located in Sithonia, Halkidiki peninsula in northern Greece. It is in a distance of about 120 km away from Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece, with a major cargo port and international airport.

The luxury Porto Carras Resort is situated in an enchantingly verdant landscape in Sithonia, the middle of the three “fingers” that form the Halkidiki Peninsula. Set like a gem in 1763 hectares of incredibly beautiful grounds, it is a paradise of green fringed by seemingly endless sandy beaches – 9 kilometers of them, in fact, punctuated by more than 25 little coves where the pine trees sweep right down to water’s edge. It is worth noting that the Resort is on the same geographical latitudw as Majorca, Spain. Climatically, Porto Carras is an ideal location to visit during summer.

Port Carras Resort is one of the largest tourist resorts in Europe and came into the ownership of the Technical Olympic Group in 1999.
